kurg Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 Hi GTA pals PC config: AthlonXP 2000+ ASUS A7N266-VM(Geforce 2 integrated MoBo) 256MB RAM I go into GTA-SA, click on Display and then advanced options..the game crashes. I can start a game and play but it lags badly. So I have to reduce my Video settings which is not possible due to the above problem. I tried deleting the gta-sa.set, updating drivers but to no avail. Please HELP otherwise I can never ever start on GTA-SA and most of my friends are halfway through. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just post what settings you want. In the meantime, upgrade your video card drivers and disable sound card hardware acceleration, then try that. I asked my friend to put in the lowest possible settings and it sure did help but not totally. On foot, the game is playable but on vehicle its lags horrible.
