Hurricane5
)ragon10]{' date='Jun 24 2005, 10:50'] Easy-e's comeback at dre...(I forgot the name) Hit em UP-Tupac You mean Real Motherpukkin G's? That was a great song, with a great flow. Gotta love Eazy. On the tupac note, Hit em Up is THE best diss song in my book. Who Shot Ya by Notorious BIG is good. immessedup17
Real Motherf*ckin G's was good. The new Game mixtape ripping 50 sucks. But Game sucks in general. I Shot Ya remix was also pretty damn good. I'm not a big fan of diss tracks though, tbh.

Requiem
Most diss tracks are hot, because competition brings out the best in artists. Hip Hop is about competition, from the start that's always been a key element. Even going back to the b-boy and graff days, early early hip hop. It's hard to pinpoint a best diss record...because there has been alot. Ether - Nas Real motherf*cking G's - Eazy E Takeover - Jay Z (the fact that he took the stand against Nas was real unexpected). Mobb - Drop a gem on 'em Pac - Hit 'em up! That's mainly older stuff though....well, kind of, if you think 2001 is older. More recent tracks havn't really impressed me that much. I think game's recent sh*t was aiite, and the Em tracks to Benzino would have definetly hit a spot.

OH NO
Old favourites are Mama said knock you out, Ether, Drop a gem on em and 2nd round knockout. Recently I enjoyed Boogiemans diss on Masta ace, Just you wait, and aces response, Acknowledge. ^oh yeah, and Malcolm X by 5`9", but I dont really think its that great a diss track (lyrically its not his best), I just cant stand D12. Ciabatta
Ether-Nas Shredded Jay-Z, plain and simple. After I bought Stillmatic, I threw the Blueprint away. Now-a-days, people say Jay-Z and 50 are New York's best and that is 100% bullsh*t. Jay-Z is overrated and so is 50.

Now-a-days, people say Jay-Z and 50 are New York's best and that is 100% bullsh*t. Jay-Z is overrated and so is 50. People just say Jay-z is the best because he is a big business man. That doesnt mean sh*t when it comes to his lyrical skill. I cant respect someone who has stolen that many Biggie lyrics.
