I never tried escaping with the turrets activated, always too scared hey, with a Hydra it's easy to outrun the rockets. with the jetpack, on the other hand... ouch i once tried it with the jetpack, it fired a rocket at me, i quickly landed and got out of the jetpack, the rocket still followed me and torn me to pieces.
