ElirazB
Hey First of all I searched the forum and found nothing about this. Im having trouble with the weapons in GTA SA. I cant fire! When I click the left mouse button nothing happens. Yes I checked the controls menu and even put them back to default a couple of times. I tried both a USB and a PS2 mouse and nothing helped. Now here is the strange thing. When I click ESC to pause and then resume it fires one time. I tried the weapons cheat to get all the weapons and when I select a weapon it starts shooting and wont stop. Anybody have an idea? My computer specs if it even helps are AMD 1Ghz thunderbird 384MB of DDR ATI 9200 with 128MB PRO I know it's not very good but it plays the game just fine aside from this problem. Thanks EDIT: I also tried to run the game in Windows 98 mode but it didnt help... Edited June 24, 2005 by ElirazB

ElirazB
Ok, I fixed part of the problem. Now whenever I have a gun in my hand (doesnt matter which one) it wont stop shooting until I change to a bat or a fist or something of that sort... Anybody have an idea how to fix this? Thanks
akochan
First off make sure you don't have any gamepads, joysticks, wheels hooked up... Then goto your windows mouse settings and sticky key settings and make sure none of those are messed up. Start Menu->Control Panel Failing that... Then open your mouse and clean the crap out of the casing (if you know what you're doing... otherwise don't mess around with it). Take the keys off keyboard and clean under them.^

Disconnecting the flight sim joystick fixed the problem.
