Would you consider this cheating?

I recently did that glitch were you open all the stores early during the opening cutscene. I had to do the jetpack cheat, but i dident use it cause you get watsed exactly after. Can some1 please shed some light?

Well, the glitch is that during the end of the opening cutsene, right before tenpenny throws you out of the car, you put in the jetpack code, and you instantly die. Then when you awake at the hospital, all stors are open, like clothes and gyms and stuff.What do you think?

yes the glitch works but you need to cheat to get it to work do it if you want its you game

Well it is cheating, but I mean one little jetpack cheat isnt that much, I use the jetpack cheat every scene .

You used the jet pack cheat so yes it's cheating.

Yes, it's cheating. I don't understand why people cheat this game. When SA for the PS2 came out, I went to a friend to play it. He always cheated, but we didn't cheat that game. Why? I convinced him to, together get Vice a 100%. After a few missions, the rewards got bigger, and he said that it felt so much better to be able to tell that he completed Vice on his own (well, on our own) We never made it to 100% in Vice, the game was stuck at 99%, and we already did everything.... We suspect that it has something to do with other saves on the same file having cheats. We deleted the whole game entry on the card and made it up to 70% orso, after that SA came out and we lost interest in Vice, never did complete 100% on PS2 SA though.

 

Anyway, enough of my ranting. Using a cheat only once is cheating. And I don't like cheating a marvelous game like this. Even though some of the missions almost made my pull my hair out.

It maybe cheating, but it doesn't add to your "Times Cheated" on the menu. Oh yah, you'll just get -3 as a criminal ranking because you died... and you never got any money.

if i where you id play through first without cheating and mabe strive to get 100%. then on a seperate,if you really want to try the glitch, do it. even mabe you should do it on a differetn memory card. but taht seems ointless to me, but if you waent to do it and dont want to f*ck up your game. tahts the safest way

Obviously it's cheating if you had to use a cheat.

When you use a button cheat code for sumthing, your cheating, when you use some sort of a glitch, without a button code or cheat device, your just being a handy-man, and no harm is done
