Weapons Being Removed/Swapped

been making my way thru the game and have found an annoying problem!

 

when i do missions with guns that you have to use

like the mission to save sweet when the police raid the motel where the families are meeting, after the mission is done i have lost my AK and my Shotgun.

 

i have also noticed that it overwrites weapons, such as i had an mp5 (after stealing it off the block big smoke shot off the train) but a few missions later i HAD to use a uzi so i lost my mp5 and instead got the worse uzi with alot less ammo.

 

this is starting to annoy me as having a nicly ammoed up AK helps emmensly when taking over hoods and doing missions.

 

is this a glitch that may be fixed in the patch or is it just another bad idea from R*

If a mission makes you use a certain type of gun, that will override your current gun and there's nothing you can do about it. Not necessarily a glitch.

 

If you're mad about losing guns then just wait
