Fade13
Recently when i've been trying to download things that take a long time my computer starts to download then but after a little while it restarts itself. When i get back to the desktop it says something about the computer recovering from an error. Im completely in the dark about this stuff so i was wondering if any of you could identify what the problem is and tell me a solution. Image of error report thank you in advance Edited June 23, 2005 by Fade13

Hynes
Does it only restart when you're downloading files? If so, how large are the files you're trying to get? I really don't know what could be wrong except what SYN said, it could be your page file; however, with enough ram... that shouldn't be a problem. Newman SCO
A friend of mine had this problem. It was his external ADSL modem causing it. He reinstalled the modem drivers and worked well for a while. But came back soon after. He bought another modem..
