About Removing Codec Packs

It's absolutely true thet codec packs are responsible for a lot of bugs on GTA SA, but uninstaling them is more complicated than you think.

First of it, the ADD/REMOVE option on windows NEVER remove all the codecs that have been installed by the Pack, and It's a FACT.

You have to download GSpot, a tool that recognizes all the audio and video codecs installed. It shows exactly where each codec is located, including the registry entries. You should remove each manually, and after that you must do a new check with GSpot.

If you don't do this, it's useless another procedure to uninstalling Codec Packs.

I hope this can help, even knowing that the game by itselfs is a problem that only a patch can solve. I HOPE SO
