PatboyX Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 No, and as I said, its the noise the actual PC is making not the speakers. dont know for sure but it could be an alarm. usually they indicate that the motherboard/processor/hard drive/video card are over-heating or nearing their limit temps. depends on the machine. im guessing most mass-produced models only have alarms related to the mobo and processor if any at all. try turning down some settings. what types of other programs do you run that this has never happened before? does it sound like an alarm? (even if you have never heard your computer alarms, when you hear them for the first time, you pretty much know what it means) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

republix Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 i have the exact same problem. it's been ringing ever since ive used joytokey, and tapping the "x" button on my ps2 controller. the only way i know how to fix this is by opening the computer, and unplugging the power cord that says "Speaker", hooked up to your motherboard from your case Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
