Bartleby
I searched for any tips or tricks to complete this portion of Flight School, but came up empty-handed. Meh. Contrary to Rockstar's belief, I do not have three hands. It's very hard to keep the chopper steady and fire at moving cars at the same time. I can hold W and 9, but can't click with my nose, because, well, I have to see what I'm doing. I can hit all three trucks with no sweat, but I always have to make three or four passes before I can finally get rid of the circling sedans. I've been at this for quite awhile now, and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
harde20
use machine gun, it works well both trucks and cars
mikeswi
Yeah, just use machine guns. Go very slowly toward the cars, point the nose in the target's general direction and the cannon should lock onto the target. Just forget the rockets, you're up against a time limit here. GodGell
wow, there's a lock-on mode with the cannons in the Hunter? beh, if i knew that, i wouldn't have passed that test (with 96%) with the rockets. easy deal: fire with ctrl, not click.

While you're flying with A/S/W/D and the arrows, use your right pinky to hit the 4/6 buttons on the numpad to rotate the camera with the chopper - I had a very hard time with that test until I started using the numpad to control the camera. Bartleby
I used the machine guns, and on the 8th try or so, I pulled a 70% out of it. Thanks for the help, guys.
Kremit
at first I was like: "WTF is this crap? LCTRL and LMB?!?!?" then I found LALT will fire the missles while LCTRL will fire the guns... made it much MUCH easier to do with nearly one hand. I do agre though some times it seems like we need 3 hands but then it is designed for a gamepad which probably makes it easyer. One problem I run into is keyboard response time is sometimes slower than I need. Does lock on work with key+mouse config? I know in one of the zero missions the litle bi-plane had a lock on for guns but never seen it in any other weapon (save the heat seaker).
