Neoljeol
well, in san andreas i always knew that i couldn't accelerate turn and handbrake at once cause then my computer will go BEEP BEEP BEEP. So i didn't really mind and i knew it wasn't the game because i could do that with my other comp without any problems. But now im up to the advance driving school and because of this problem i cant pass the first mission with the donut. When i do a burnout its fine but once i try to steer my car right, the beeping noise comes up and it doesn't work. Then i fail. So i tried switching keyboards with a computer that the 3 key combo worked on, however the beeping noise sitll haunted me. I asked my bro he said its prob the mb or the processor's problem. Here are my specs Athlon 64 3200 SOLTEK SL-K8TPro-939 Socket 939 VIA K8T800 Pro ATX AMD Motherboard 160gb hd 1 gb ram and im running windows xp pro thanks for any help. Also if this belongs in pc chat please move it. Thanks Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/198957-cant-push-3-keys-at-once/ Share on other sites
GTA3Freak-2001
Yep get the same thing and the only way is to use the arrow keys instead of WASD, its annoying I know as WASD is much easier for me. Legoguy
This is more of a keyboard/ps2 problem than a mobo problem. I think what causes it is the microcontroller in the keyboard gets 'confused' when a few specific keys are pressed at the same time, possibly interfering signals or something. Happens with my MS Natural, and with a different set of keys on my laptop keyboard. Depends on how the keyboard is made and by who I guess... In other words, don't go replacing your mobo for this, it won't help. I've used my MS Natural across several systems and it did the same thing for each one. If it works now, but still beeps, maybe try restarting your computer after installing that new keyboard.... just a wild guess. thedude777
When I am drivng a car, I push accelerate (W), Look behind (Q + E), and I steer left/right (A/D) That's 4 buttons, and I don't hear a beep noise...maybe because I'm using a laptop...I don't know... DaLion
Get a high quality keyboard. This used to be a big problem with older keyboards, seems to happen in most programs and applications that run on windows. uzer
no , it is not my keyboard. I used another keyboard that worked normaly. You just contradicted yourself. It is a keyboard issue, most basic keyboards will only register a few key strokes at once.
