janak1986 Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 hey ppl.... jus picked up GTA San Andreas on PC last week....and all is good. But now i've reached Ryders Mission: Robbing Uncle Sam and Cesars Mission: Cesar Vialpando and on the first one, when i get to the army base, i get into the fork lift, and i dont know how to operate the fork!! and so soon enuff time runs out and ryder's killed. so i end up failing that mission all the time...ive tried all keyboard buttons and nothing seems to work!! and on cesar's mission.....i get to the meet with cesar, and when the music starts, i try to bounce the car in tune wid the arrows that appear on the screen...but once again nothing works!!! the car bounces' on the hydrolics when i press the button for the hydrolics, but when i try pressing the arrow buttons nothing works.... i can't progress anymore within the game until ive passed these missions.....so any help will be appreciated!!! thanx so much Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GTA3Freak-2001 Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 I bet you didn't try the numpad? Well to move the forklift up/down use Numpad-8 for up and Numpad-2 for down. Samd thing goes for the hydrolics, use Numpad 8,2,4, and 6 for up, down, left, and right. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nemon Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 Forklift : Use numpad 8 (toggle NumLock perhaps?) to raise the forks, 2 to lower the forks. PLUS, get off the forklift now and then to take out the guards... Ryder's aiming is pathetic, and he needs some help. Don't worry, you don't have a time limit to get the crates onboard, so take your time (the forklift can be difficult to drive) and help out Ryder in killing guards. On the Caesar mission, try using numpad numbers on this one as well, worked for me. And try toggling the NumLock key. Hope this helps! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
