Try this : Download drivercleaner first : http://www.drivercleaner.net/ select nvidia press then on the add button, start. Remove ONLY the displaydriver. Install the newest nvidiadrivers. Overture Posted June 23, 2005 Share Posted June 23, 2005 What he's trying to say is that old drivers can leave stuff behind, you might need to use software like drivercleaner to completely uninstall the old drivers and THEN update again. Having said that, some other people had this problem and solved it by running DXDIAG and dropping the 3d accelleration down to Standard or Basic.
