IMI4tth3w2
Hi i was wondering, that scince you know if u go out further in san andreas the map expands and the water is further out and all, that you would be able to make stuff there, basicly making it possible to have a BILLION mods surrounding san andreas? (or how ever many the san andreas engine could hold) Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/198776-san-andreas-mapping/ Share on other sites
Andy80586
There are probably other limits that are object-based, but limits all have one thing in common: they can all be hacked. L0UNG3R
In theory you can almost make it as big as you like, because not the whole map is loaded into memory. The limit on this engine is the maximum "stuff" in an area of a certain size. X-Seti
Drop a little bomb shell. There is nothing stopping you from loading the SA map files (just to edit the locations) into Moo Mapper.. But the trick is to move them into VC first!, then edit them there, through there are some changes to consider, and things can be hard to see. That is what im doing. So when I am happy with what I've added, I'll move them back into SA with the extra maps, until there is a SA mapper released, I can do things in more detail with textures. IE check http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=200363 so to use Moomapper you replace the VC data folder with the SA data folder? or do you replace a VC ide/ilp with an SA ide/ipl respectivley? -Thanks Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/198776-san-andreas-mapping/#findComment-2983732 Share on other sites
