[REL] txd workshop ready for massive san andreas

Heya i need help. I get a texture problem when importing bmp/tga files sad.gif It started lastnight. This is a before picture, Before and this is a picture taken after i imported a bmp/tga, After . Pls help me smile.gif

that is a issuse with older txd workshops, grab the newest one on gtatools.com (when it gets back online).

 

only download my programs from my website - other websites are never up-to-date.

I guess I must have been trying with the wrong version for a while now not realising... now I came to grab it from your server and it didn't work...

I just ran into a problem

 

I was trying to make a Prez Bush ped.

but when i imported the bmp/tga, saved it, and reopened it, it looked like this:

When I previewed with the code im using for my program it looked fine:

I alos tried it with version 3.7, but the same thing.

It still worked in GTA so no problem really, just letting you know.

My ped still needs some work.

ThaKilla: i don't understand what you are trying to say / archieve, i imported both the bmp and tga into txd and it didn't get corrupted, so unless you can provide files that actually break the txd or my program this bug is nonexistant, but if imported the image with your own program i don't have anything to fix if you don't know how to fill image headers properly.

I tried to redo it but, it didn't work, if you want here is the bad TXD file, but when i try to import it now, it works... but good job on the program.. i love it

 

Bad WMOMIB txd

the broken txd doesn't help if i can't reproduce it in any way, you understand this? i need to see what and how happens with original file to become broken blink.gif

 

yo, i used workshop to edit a clothing item (export with img tool, and export texture, edit in paint and import to txd workshop, then i save, and try it in game.

 

but GTA SA crashes when changing into this item of clothing. any idea why?

no other mods are installed and i only changed one TXD

 

 

EDIT: scratch that - downloaded neweer version and it works in game now...

delfi - when working with the vehicles.txd in SA, if i delete an image from there, it corrupts all the images in the txd, after the image i delete. specifically, i deleted "vehiclelights128", to see if i could get them to work in a different txd, and all the images after it became garbage. the txd crashed the game too.

 

i cna re-name that image, but not delete it..

Nice, I didn't think you were still improving it...I'm still using version I got shortly after SA came out...works great for me

Is the bmp issue dead or resolved? I use bmp from photoshop whenever I have an alpha channel, as long as I save as OS/2 instead of Windows format I have no problems. If you're interested in identical images saved in both formats just lemme know

yeah sure, if you can provide 32, 24 and 8 bit images saved from photoshop as os/2 and windows' format, but you should really be using PNG images instead.

 

i silently updated this to version 3.8A yesterday fixing some memory leaks and crashes and fixed the templates again.

 

a command line functionality could be made now, but i'd rather create it in separate program from txd workshop, also whenever a command line app would be used it would recompress all images, and since DXT compression is loosy the image quality would degrade in all images, even those that weren't edited, but this doesn't happen in txd workshop since it recompresses only changed images.

i hav made a txd for claudes orignal jacket but when i replace it with leather.txd and go and get it the top is skin colour can anyone help me out?

anyway i think you wrote wrong name of your image in txd, so match your image name with in your dff name, you can use RW analyze to open the dff and press F4 for the texture list
