GTASASA
Hi every body i don't now if this idia is good or some one else know it 1. get the name of the mission 2. open the main.scm with sa-missonbuilder 3. click on finde in the toolsbar 4. put the name of the mission and search for it 3 times and you will finde something like thes ;-------------Mission 88---------------; Originally: Don Peyote 5.now click on finde then search for pass until you finde some thing like thes mission pass code0008: $597 += 1 ;; integer values0629: change_stat 317 to 1 ; integer see statdisp.dat0318: set_latest_mission_passed 'CASINO4'01E3: text_1number_styled 'M_PASSR' 5 5000 ms 10394: play_music 10998: add_respect 5 0110: clear_player $2 wanted_level030C: set_mission_points += 10164: disable_marker $5820051: return tip:it not allways the same code but it must have: 01E3: text_1number_styled 'M_PASSR' 5 5000 ms 1 copy the code (the long first one not only the second) then click finde and chose up and search for the mission name and you will finde: ;-------------Mission 88---------------; Originally: Don Peyote then click finde and search for (fail) you will finde some thing like thes 00BA: text_styled 'M_FAIL' 5000 ms 10051: return and replace the code with the pass code tip:to every misson have name (not the mission name) like: :CASINO4_607300BA: text_styled 'M_FAIL' 5000 ms 10051: return here the name of the mission (:CASINO4_6073) so when you search for the fail or pass code be sure that the name of the mission is the same or you will be repalcing the next mission fail or pass code bye now hope this topic to be helpfull
EmSixTeen
So like.. Do the mission, fail, but want to progress to the mission anyway and do this to make the game think you've passed? Handy, I guess

Zach
Can someone give me a .scm where all the missions have this modified code? I'm having trouble with mine (it stops at Processing Jumps:15000)!!! Really, I need it... I want to pass alot of missions just to get to the mission where you goto liberty city! Nipa Considering there are something like 134 total missions (of which someone would have to filter through the 80 or so storyline missions), you sure are asking a lot there. But fret not. I'm sure there's some bored 12 year old there with nothing better to do with his summer vacation who will help you out.
Nipa
Just the storyline missions 'till you reach the Liberty City mission...... I did like Find M_PASSR then copied the section of code it is in, pasted it over the M_FAIL section, and kept on doing this...but it didn't work.... the compiler threw errors at me! Itchy
Whenever I try and open the file (main.scm) in the missionbuilder I get an error message (written below); Opcode out of range: C903h Address: 0005BD86h Does anyone know why this is? P.S I'm stuck on the stoopid flying missions
Opius
Why don't you just jump to the 'complete' code instead of copying-and-pasting? Anyway, SAMB requires the addition of two more opcode definitions before it will work, which you can find in Mission Coding. Moved to Mission Coding. Quadropheniac90
Erm... Does this work? It seems to me you just replaced the mission failed text with the mission passed text, or did I read it wrong with my Dutch lol. Did you copy the whole section of code or just the text code? GTASASA
HI again for every body Itchy & every body you have to add 0A4A=2,%1h% %2h%0A4B=0, on the end of SASCM.ini file that come with mission builder to work Nipa : you have only to past it over the fail code for the mission that you whant only not for the all missions cus every mission have a pass code (not the same) and every mission have name ex (casino1) you have to finde it's pass code and replace it with it's fail code to know that every section have a name on it like :CASINO4_607300BA: text_styled 'M_FAIL' 5000 ms 10051: return here the casino4 is the name _6073 is the section number of the mission you have to replace every fail section that have the same name (casino4) if you continue replacing you will replace the next mission fail code ex (the name will be casino5) and if you replace the casino5 code with casino4 code it may not work ok if you don't understand contact my on my email and if any one whant to contact me here is may email ([email protected] or Hotmail.com ) Zach : you cane finde it here or in www.gta-downloads.com teun.steenbekkers : Ya'it will work if you copy the whole section not only the pass text if you do that it will give you mission passed and you will fail it Edited June 23, 2005 by GTASASA
ceedj
Very nice. I have no need for it, since I've beaten the game, but this is about the most creative use of MB with the original scm that I've seen in a while. I take it that this will work with saved games? Nice job! Edited June 23, 2005 by ceedj I'm actually not against democracy though. I'm against things I think are f*cking stupid. I think this is f*cking stupid. - Sweets

GTASASA
moses: IF YOU FINDE THE FLYING SCHOOL MISSIONS I THINK YOU CAN DO IT BUT YOU CAN SEARCH FOR A SAVED GAME AFTER THE FLING SCHOOL THE MISSION IS (N.O.S) YOU CAN SEARCH FOR ATOPIC IN THIS FORM IT'S NAME (SAVE 'N PLAY) OR SOMETHING LIKE THES AND DOWNLOAD THE SAVED GAME
jburrows
Well I tried it that and got error messages. Well I noticed and easier solution as least for me. Just simply switch the label of the fail mission with pass mission label and when you fail the mission you will pass it. Note however if you pass the mission you will fail it. For those do not what I learn I post an example. :HEIST3_302300BA: text_styled 'M_FAIL' 5000 ms 10051: return:HEIST3_30250008: $HEIST_MISSIONS_PASSED += 1 ;; integer values0004: $2555 = 1 ;; integer values01E3: text_1number_styled 'M_PASSR' 15 5000 ms 10998: add_respect 15 0110: clear_player $PLAYER_CHAR wanted_level0394: play_music 10318: set_latest_mission_passed 'HEIST_3'030C: set_mission_points += 10051: return The labels are the start with ":" and have a name followed by the number. All you need to change the numbers. In the above example the code would be changed to :HEIST3_302500BA: text_styled 'M_FAIL' 5000 ms 10051: return:HEIST3_30230008: $HEIST_MISSIONS_PASSED += 1 ;; integer values0004: $2555 = 1 ;; integer values01E3: text_1number_styled 'M_PASSR' 15 5000 ms 10998: add_respect 15 0110: clear_player $PLAYER_CHAR wanted_level0394: play_music 10318: set_latest_mission_passed 'HEIST_3'030C: set_mission_points += 10051: return Just remember remember to fail the mission somehow. I was having ploblems with the spanking part of that mission and tried it and it worked. I did not have any ploblems with the save game afterwards. After saving it I exit the game the game and put the original mission file. I would recremending doing it if you are or may using trainers.
