Everyone's games seem to be getting erased...

I just noticed that there seem to be a lot of topics, for both PC and PS2, complaining about save games being deleted. It's hardly persuading me to complete the final mission if this is when the problems normally occur.

All games go through some sort of testing, obviously, and I can't believe Rockstar/Take Two/whoever have missed out such a big problem like this. There are many glitches in the game, but they can all generally be dealt with; most annoying is when you have no save game left to incur and put up with glitches!!

Are there any known ways to avoid erased games? I was just wondering, and also to voice my concerns on how rahkstar2.gif could have overlooked this (personally, despite all the cool new features, the games seem to be getting progressively worse gameplay-wise - should it not be the other way around?! cry.gif )

And, as usual, SEARCH is down, and I couldn't find another topic like this. Forgive me if I, in turn, have overlooked something.

I guess that would be the best solution, but I have no more room on my Memory Cards sad.gif

Vice City as well? Never happened to me, even after the final mission confused.gif I guess I should be thankful!!

I also found that only one disc works with a certain save file. I took my Mem. Card to my cousin's to try and get him to do a mission for me, but the disc and save file wouldn't work together. Is this a glitch, something to do with wackoid save files?

No, no, no, not my PS2 file. I have heard of people who have lost their PS2 save games after completing the final missions, but I haven't. I'm worried I might, and I would be extremely pissed off if it did! I already had to start over once because I was concerned cheats would affect my game. But sometimes going through the missions again can be fun...some are just too god-awful for me to bear again, however!

Anyway, any other ways for PS2 users to prevent, or help prevent, this glitchy-doohicky?
