Ps2 Usb Controller Adapter cannot Get Working

Hey All I Recently Bought A PS2 USB Controller Adapter So I could Actually Play SA (Keybored sucks)

(not exactly same one but pretty much same)

 

it came about 5 days later in the box all looked perfectly new took it out plugged usb into my pc and then ps2 controller into the adapter plugged in then the pop up came up saying found new hardware then it tried installing but said it failed

so i ran the setup (thats all that was on the disk)and then tried playing sa changed to joypad thingy in sa but didnt work so i tried the game controllers option in controll panel but no dvice showed up

 

could anyone help me with this plz

I have something similar called the PSX-To-USB Adapter from Radioshack, so you could try checking out these driver's :

I have one of those radioshack PSX to USB adapters as well and it works great. Pretty cheap too. Only about $12. I wouldn't want to play games on my PC with any other controller. If you can't get your adapapter to work I'd suggest making a trip to radioshack.
