alphawolff
When I aim or get in a car the camera just rotates Clockwise for as long as I aim or sit in the car.... any ideas on how to fix this?
FAAmecanic
While I dont have this problem... I do HATE how the camera will not stay fixed to the back of your car or CJ for that matter when on foot. The thing that fixed this for me is to set the Mouse Steering ON.. jsut dont move your mouse when driving and you can still control your car with the keyboard. pixelrage
I do HATE how the camera will not stay fixed to the back of your car or CJ for that matter when on foot. I really hope someone makes a camera hack just for this reason... I dont know if you ever did it yet, but just you wait until you do the Driving school thing, you're going to get really violent with that stupid camera! Vilu
When I aim or get in a car the camera just rotates Clockwise for as long as I aim or sit in the car.... any ideas on how to fix this? Check your joystick (or steering wheel). The default DirectX axis for throttle (as in flight sims) controls camera rotation in GTA3 / VC / SA. With a steering wheel and pedals that axis could be the accelerator or brake pedal. Center the throttle or unplug the whole thing to fix the problem. madtommy
i think that the previous replies (while nice!) don't quite get your problem... *edit - other than the immediate one above... but that wasn't there when i started posting!* they fix the stupid 'camera faces anywhere but somewhere helpful - oh christ i've smacked into another sodding wall - why won't the damn camera just hang around behind me like jabba's little mate aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh i can't take it anymore!!!' problem, but you i think probably have a game controller plugged in somewhere (joypad? stick? wheel?... someone even said having 2 mice plugged in does this!) and thats interferring with the aiming... try unplugging all other controllers if you play by mouse and keyboard and see if that helps... good luck....
