I had san andreas ever since it came out, and now it's scratched. It keeps freezing. So, im buying a new one. Which is better? PS2 or PC?

I'd say PC, if you have decent enough specs. Custom radio, much better looks, the ability to mod, and the same controls (with a pad or stick)... What's bad about that?

Well, will San an run on Intel integrated graphics, like VC did? It has 200megabytes of video memory, but it's intel integrated.

I have both... thouh if your PC can cope you should get it for that... and jsut get somehting to use your PS2 controller with your PC...

Also if your disk is scratched you should try fixing it... you can do it by buffing it with a soft cloth and a bit of toothpaste... yes I know toothpaste... but teh particles in toothpast scratch tini bits off the disk wich eventuall brings it down to the scratch and will fix it... if the game is already buggerd you may as well try it... chocolate also does the job...

P.S. remember and rinse the disk after using toothpast or chocolate on it tounge.gif

Well, the disk plays on my bro's ps2, which is the newer thinner one. It freezes on my old, thick one.

pc... only the loading times makes it much more enjoyable than on the PS2... and of course the customizable radio, the mods and so on... smile.gif

I saw PC because

1) Im fed up with trying to fix my PS2 disk that has the tinyest of scratches

2) Its easier to play with a mouse/keyboard.

Read up a bit. You will see that the guy fixed the scratch on his disk with the method I posted.

I always buy both. I buy the PS version as I cant wait to play it. And I buy the PC version as I like to mod it.

dont buy the PC version yet it has alot of bugs but just wait for version 1.1 and then buy it , but you can buy it now but it needs a patch its youre decision confused.gif

i have both now and noticed little differences, somethings are excluded from pc i didn't see any basketballs anymore.

and it doesn't have a lot of bugs you obviously never played the ps2 version that was buggy and unpatchable, i didn't have a single bug yet and i have just finished "the end of the line" mission.

Zero missions are on the pc a lot easier though finished mission with lots of fuel left.

end of the line mission is harder now, first time on ps2 got it in 1 try. now it took me 6x.

controls have to get used to but if you have a ps2 controller for the pc it gets easier to control.

though the mouse made quik work of the shotgun challange in the ammunation, free looking is always better with a mouse.

so you decide if this game is worth owning for multiple systems.

Some people have problems, a lot don't. Seriously its a good game on PC with a lot to offer, and I haven't had a single problem. It really depends on your system configuration as to how or if it will run on your computer.

Nope Basketball is still in the game and there is nothing the PS2 version had that the PC version doesn't. It sounds like you've got the same bug that the PS2 version had ie. no basketballs.

Oh and Top Dawg, that's only true for some people. Just because a lot of people have bugs doesn't mean everyone will get them.
