Keromane69
The search on this forum gives me an error 'no permissions to use this feature', so I don't know if there is a topic on this already. I am stuck at flightschool, I just can't fly in GTA SA. I've been trying to pass flight tests for several hours now and it's not funny anymore. I wouldn't mind sticking to the tarmac since there is so much other fun things to do, but you need to pass this stupid thing in order to unlock other missions and other features. *sigh* Over the years I've been playing many flightsims without any problems. Flying in GTA VC was easy too, but in GTA SA? Flying with the mouse is impossible since the plane will spin in no time. The keyboard controls are horrible, there is no way to assign a flight-only set. There is no free camera view. So there are the tests with the corona's. Miss one: mission over. Start again. Why? Did Rockstar developers try to fly planes themselves with a mouse during tests? Why must all vehicles share the same controls? Even the most simple multi-vehicle games give the opportunity to assign different controls and adjust sensitivity. Why on earth include lame arbitrary missions which are impossible to skip? Too bad IMHO.

Unbound the following with backspace, then: Plane up/down: num6/num9 Special up/down/left/right: home, end, del, pgdown Add these keys to the following actions: Look left/right: num1, num2 Car movement: cursor keys (keep the WSAD if you want) With these settings, I've passed every flying mission I played. Jigsaw
What exactly is the problem you have? I found all the tasks in flight school to be pretty easy. I only had trouble with the barrel roll, and event that only took me a couple of tries. You just have to be very careful with the mouse. The plane will keep rotating in the direction that you steer, until you push the mouse into the opposite direction. That is confusing at first. But when you keep trying, you'll eventually get the hang of it. Trust me, it's doable and not even that hard. It just takes effort... like every good game does.
