Fade13
im considering buying world of warcraft and i want to ask if any one here on gtaf plays it and how good (or bad) it is. Also if anyone knows of any better mmorpg. I also need to know if there is also a monthly charge or you just buy the game and can play it online. Thanks in advance
boobtronic
It is an AMAZING game, but yes, has a $40/2months fee via cards you can buy where you bought the game.
LordDiablo
It is an AMAZING game, but yes, has a $40/2months fee via cards you can buy where you bought the game. When you buy the game you get a full month free. You can buy a card in stores that covers every two months for $30. Or you can just pay montly via credit card for $15. I play the game, I like it. My friends play the game, they like. Get it.
jelly
If you're not an impatient person who doesn't like doing relatively repetitive quests and monster killing to level up, it's a good game. I liked most aspects of it, except for the questing. 'Deliver *random package* to *random village*' / *Kill x amount of *random monster*', yay. butnot. DidierSucks
I've been seriously considering buying this game for a while, except my computer sucks and I like to figure out how I'm going to start an RPG before I jump in. Basically I've been imagining a whole swack of combinations..... Undead Warlock + Herbalism/Alchemy/Enchanting Orc Warrior + Mining/Blacksmithing Troll Shaman + Fishing/Cooking Dwarf Warrior + Mining/Blacksmithing/Engineering Human Paladin + First Aid

RearEndCollision
...I havn't played any other game since I bought WoW. x2 Both me and Tetty here play non-stop, and in his own words it's "cum in your pants good."
LordDiablo
I've been seriously considering buying this game for a while, except my computer sucks and I like to figure out how I'm going to start an RPG before I jump in. Basically I've been imagining a whole swack of combinations..... Undead Warlock + Herbalism/Alchemy/Enchanting Orc Warrior + Mining/Blacksmithing Troll Shaman + Fishing/Cooking Dwarf Warrior + Mining/Blacksmithing/Engineering Human Paladin + First Aid Fishing, Cooking, and First Aid are secondary professions, meaning you can have all three. Any others and you can only have too. I have a Paladin that does Mining and Blacksmithing and a Mage that does Herbalism and Alchemy. And Paladin's get Holy Light which makes First Aid useless. street cheetah
Maybe Guild Wars would be better? You don't have to pay a monthly fee, it's like WoW, and I hear the game is good.

TEoS
World of Warcraft consumed my friends younger brother. He plays 8 hours a day. It's really pathetic. If you have an addictive personality, stay away from this game.
Moonshield
I prefer guild wars, mainly because I played the beta of WoW and got bored of it before the end of the 2 week beta test. Age of Conan is going to anally ream both games.

Age of Conan is going to anally ream both games. I played Guild Wars before I played WoW. WoW is interactive. You can jump, you can swim, you can do stuff like mine and pick flowers, and you fight. Guild Wars is just fighting. I guess whatever tickles your pickle.

Ask someone to escort you there. 2. Hop on your mount and travel (alot faster than walking) 3. Take the train/ship/zeppelin to the area 4. Get the flight pattern from a previous mission to that area, and fly over for a small fee. 5. You could of used the map...it points you to the direction of your designated area. 6. Become an Undead mage...an learn how to teleport. There's more, but I'm way too tired to think of any.

Kotsudaira
I've been reading a lot about this game lately and STONE THE CROWS it looks good. I'm gonna buy it on monday, along with a new graphics card. It better be $180 or so well spent. And then $20 per month too.. Stone the crows.

EmSixTeen
Wow, people actually pay monthly fees to play a game? And a lot of you? That's lame. WoW is one game I'm not even going to touch.
Metall-Head
I play WoW for a month and then take a few weeks/1 month break, and then play again, this totally makes the games fun-ness go way up again, the only boring thing is quests, there very repetitive, and the new "honor sytem" has turned the game into a total sh*t-hole, so if your beginning dont play on a PvP server, you'll get killed 24-7 once you get the to the crossroads
Tetsuo2501
and the new "honor sytem" has turned the game into a total sh*t-hole ...either you must really suck at pvp. Or, you're talking straight out of your ass.
