[enforcA] Posted June 20, 2005 Share Posted June 20, 2005 (edited) the problem is the uvmapping, some of the things won't work because the texture gets simply mirrored on the model WIP example: if you look at the upper back of the jeans the belt holder gets mirrored and looks like a butterfly because of the uvmap so if you do this 'evisu' jeans you might have to change some details because of the mirror-situation greetings from germany it looks a bit .. do you really want this rounded yellow-green stripe? [enforcA] Posted June 22, 2005 Share Posted June 22, 2005 i first made it just for fun to test it if i could do it and how it would look with this yellow line at the back of this jeans^^ but later i got deeper and deeper and now i will release it (maybe this night or tomorrow).. i still have to work on it and correct some things, my photoshop crushed last time so i wasn't able to save the last work, i think i will do 4 versions of this jeans (1. basic, 2. stone washed no1 3. stone washed no2 4. stone washed no3) and after they are done i will do a version or two for you with these stripes at the back, but first i have to make the jeans texture perfect otherwise i won't release it, because i don't want to release crappy stuff.. it would be against my quality rules if you want to see more of the development process then you can take a look in the german thread: http://www.forum.sanan.de/showthread.php?t=823 greetings from germany Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[enforcA] Posted June 27, 2005 Share Posted June 27, 2005 (edited) so, i am done with my work on this jeans.. i have (i think) 8 different 'stone washed' versions (they look cool like in real life i like this stone washed style) and a standard unwashed version and maybe a dark unwashed version too later.. the version with the 'evisu' line at the back of it is the standard unwashed version yet, this means it isn't stone washed, and it's not dark, maybe it will be dark in your game, i don't really know because i only tested it yet on my pc, i have in-game brightness set on 'full' because my pc monitor is a bit dark, i will test it later on other computers before i release all versions, but those versions will be without the 'evisu' line at the back, the 'evisu' edition is only for you, if you share it to other people please make sure that you include the autor name ([enforcA]) of this jeans, and tell me where you gave it to, so that i know where my work goes.. i think you know what i mean^^ and yes i will test this evisu line on those stone washed versions if it looks good on those versions i could give you a stone washed version with the evisu line at the back of it too, but first i have to release the other versions without this line.. so i would say this is a first test, i don't know if you like it, but you could test it and tell me how it looks on your pc, if it looks dark like the first example on the picture, or if it looks like on my computer, which would mean that it looks like the second example on this picture: if you want to test it write me an email to [email protected] and i will send you the *.txd file (it replaces the green jeans at binco) greetings edit: i tested it with one of the stone washed versions, it would look like this: Edited June 27, 2005 by [enforcA] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
