JulioCaesar
I love indie rock, its honestly the only gerne of music thats keeping my faith in music alive aside from all the "big name" artists like Beck or what have you. I find myself finding new indie bands on a near by-daily basis, yet I still find my self unable to keep up with the plethora of bands. But it evenetually it comes to a point where you have to stop and realise the culture you have thrown yourself into, and by that I mean the indeo rock scene. This guide, published on one of those amazon.com "top-10-greatest-CD-lists" by a random user, clearly has the indie scene described right down to the goodwill fashion taste that has been turned into an obsurdity thanks to the lesser gerne spawned from the indie scene, the emo scene. The actual list of CD's is pretty descent, putting the very best and most influential indei bands at the very top, allthough I am a bit confused as to how Devo made it on the list. Anyways, heres the guide: INDIE ROCK SCENESTER GUIDE
Purple9
That is pretty awesome. Quite surprising to be honest. Devo were/are a very influencial post punk/indie band - although imo their best record would be "Q - We are not men A - We are Devo". Impressive list, though. Nice variation. The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours!

JulioCaesar
Nah, they're not indie. The Warhols are allright, but I absolutely can not stand their more country influenced tracks.
