Had the Infernus and Patriot left, got the Infernus on a mission (get dynamite) and it disappeared. dammit. Remembered what it looked like and cruised around, snagged it and went to docks. One to go: Patriot. Same fricking thing, found by hospital, got it after a wreck. Got Tboned and into the water of Pirates in men's pants. Sheeeeit, nononononon. Never has reappeard, got the jet pack and cruised. NADA. WHere is this thing supposed to pop up, if not by hospital? Oh, and is the search broken for some reason? No wonder there are so many repeat threads, or when I looked for "barrel roll" (other GTA site) it was spelled "role". When you go inside the place, you'll automatically get 4 or 5 stars, but it shouldn't be too hard to bring the Patriot to the export since you're already so close. Whoever said "Intensive care" was correct, I'm fairly sure. Be damned if I did not get Tboned in front of Pirates in Men's Pants into the drink. Much swearing was had. Was about to blow off mission to get that thing to a garage. Funny, now I'm at the "take back the hood" stage. Gonna be fun with a minigun. Done...heh. Dang, police uniform won't work? Used to. Spiritualized Posted June 21, 2005 Share Posted June 21, 2005 There's also the Patriot you can obtain on one of the courier missions - "Big Smoke's Cash:" -------------------------------------------------- 5.21: Bulletproof/Fireproof/Explosionproof Patriot -------------------------------------------------- Location: San Fierro Mission: Courier Mission A (Big Smoke's Cash) Character: Cesar This must be done before Yay Ka-Boom-Boom, and is as of now, the only known Bulletproof car in San Fierro (UPDATE: February 3rd, 2005 - Not true anymore, the Fireproof Rumpo is now confirmed). This is the one where "the cash is leaving Los Santos again." Method one ---------- Follow the Patriot to its destination and wait for it to stop. Now push it to a garage. You can't use a Tow Truck for some reason. You may use a Tractor, however. In either case, there are two quirks with this vehicle. First, it likes to teleport around. If it suddenly vanishes, try looking around nearby. The second problem are the streetcars. If possible, try aking a route that isn't on the streetcars' path. Get it to a garage and put it in there. Let the door close, and the bad GSFs will vanish, and the doors will unlock. It's all yours! Method two ---------- If the Patriot tries to cross over the Flint Intersection, it will never reach its destination. For some reason, it'll cross the bridge into the Flint Intersection, go under the overpass and take the exit onto the bridge. It'll go forth for a while before turning left and try to jump the barrier back onto the road below. Obviously, this means inevitable death for the vehicle, and maybe the GSF. Allow it to explode, being sure not to let it out of your sight, and jack a Tanker or something. Use it to push the rubble to your Santa Maria Beach garage. NOTE: You can use a Tractor to tow this, thanks to DaBlinks for confirmation. I love the Patriot, it's especially good in San Andreas because of the varied terrain. Get this: went to airport location, and felt like an idiot because I could remember being there and looking around the factory and recall thinking "hey, hummer"...ok 'patriot', fine. Naturally this was before the export mission. D'oh. Anywho, get to patriot, take it. Take turn too fast, yup, in the drink by the coastguard boat. Swim to boat, get to airport, grab helo fly to patriot. "moose trip" one. Jack patriot # two: going down the hill, thru tunnel trying to get there quick and forgot about the fence after the tunnel, ricochet off, down the embankment into the water. "moose trip" two. (sigh) Patriot #3: drove there. Grab Patriot, like #2 alarm goes off. Stop and wait. As I get on the road, change to my mp3's...what's playing? If you guessed "Another one bites the dust" by "Queen"...you'd be correct. Missed a turn, hit a grassy angle and wound up, upside-down. BOOOOM. #4 got to the docks safely. It's a special vehicle and too precious to give away Just have enough balls to get the nearest one, right there inside the Naval Base. It's a lot fun doing so, you just need to strategize carefully. JD777 Posted July 2, 2005 Share Posted July 2, 2005 I found out how to get the patriiot early on in the game first i shoot at some cars then when the firetruck comes get in and do the firetruck missions (very easy and one of the best ways I know to make lots of money in the beginning) go and put out fires until u see a burning patriot then make sure to put out the fire and the people who come out to then get out of the firetruck and enter the patriot (which is not dammaged at all! ) this is how i got all of my patriots that are in my garages. Now u have the patriot u usually don't have to go far in the firetruck missions to get it just be patient i think it allso is better to start the firetruck missions in industrial sections or next to millitary or police locations.
