SANANDREASMASTER
One question how did you import those textures to your game? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/197608-new-textures-for-san-andreas/#findComment-2913449 Share on other sites
gta_matt
here's how i did it. you must have txd workshop and san andreas Ultimate Editor open up txd workshop and then ultimate editor. once your on ultimate editor click on IMG EDITOR. When the Open file comes up go to where you haved san andreas stored on your pc and open gta3.img it's probably in: C:\program files\rockstar games\GTA San Andreas\models\gta3. Once opened click where it says find and type oldgarage_sfse.txd Click it and then click export.Export it to a folder you can easally find later. go to txd workshop and click Open Txd.go to the folder you saved it in and open it. once its opened export one of the files to another folder, lets say the one that says ws_altz_wall4(this is the main buildings txd).Export it as Bmp.Open MS Paint. Now your gonna have to find a website that has good textures.I found this. http://godevill.hp.infoseek.co.jp/works/texture/ Scroll down to walls and find Concrete.Lets click the 3rd one to the right because thats what i used Right click it and click save as.Save to a file you can remember. MAKE SURE YOU CLICK TO SAVE IT AS A BMP. Now click file and open on MS Paint.Open from where you saved.Once it's opened hit Ctrl + E.If you noticed in txd workshop the size was 256*256.Make the Width and Height 256. Now click save as and save it over the file you copied from txd workshop(ws_altz_wall4).Then import that file back into txd workshop and it should overwrite the original. Now click File and Save As.save over the original oldgarage_sfse.txd Next go back to ultimate editor and click oldgarage_sfse.txd and then click replace. replace it with your new oldgarage_sfse.txd and you should be done. Load up san andreas,go to the garage and you should see your new texture. If you follow these instructions you should be able to edit lots more p.s. I spent forever looking for this file so please enjoy Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/197608-new-textures-for-san-andreas/#findComment-2915093 Share on other sites

chris82
Hey, in the models>txd folder, I tried to edit the nVidia and soundcard logos in a txd file using your instructions. I edited and imported without problems, but now when I start up SA, all loading screens and opening logos are blank white. What is the problem here? gta_matt
I can honestly say I don't know. You could check back and see if the loading screens and opening logos are somehow attached to the file you edited.I just don't know what could cause that. Diablo SV
I have new textures for San Andreas as well. This one replaces the slot machines and video poker machines to high resolution, real looking 512 X 512 ones. The old ones look so messy and worn out. I'll get pictures later when I visit the casinos. EEP, old letter. <3 Diablo SV Edited July 6, 2005 by Diablo SV Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/197608-new-textures-for-san-andreas/#findComment-2968718 Share on other sites
