CubanJetMaX Posted June 19, 2005 Share Posted June 19, 2005 After looking in this directory: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\maps\interior I found a load of .IDE's, and a few IPL's. Pagnell Posted June 19, 2005 Share Posted June 19, 2005 (edited) They're just text files, and look to be in the same format as the VC ones. They contain object definitions. Have a look at the complete known IDE definitions thread. IPL files contain the object placements - the 'maps' in other words, again in plain text format. Dangta Posted June 19, 2005 Share Posted June 19, 2005 These are standard GTA map files, there is no current editor for them for SA because the format has changed a bit. .ide = item definitions .ipl = item placements These are files which define and place the parts of san andreas which are split up into many models.
