Recommended Posts

I just installed san andreas for pc and when I play the game cars pile up and the game is realy slow. I don't know why it's like that but I played it on my xbox and it was normal. Does anybody know what to do when it's like that? It's realy too slow.

I have a windows xp computer, latest directx system installed, 248 mb of memory, intel pintium 4, service pack 2, and it was manufactered in 2002.

What video card do you have? I can tell you right now you could use more memory thats for sure. Windows XP is using half of that memory right off the bat.

I just checked the card and it has 64.0 mb on it and I checked on the back of the box the game came in and it said it needs 64 mb video card so there must be something else wrong with it.

Is it onboard video? Or PCI? Or AGP? What is the physical name of the card? And what processor do you have? All of these things are gonna affect frame rate.

I just manualy opened the DirectX Dianosics Tool and it had three features you could disable or enable but the one to enable the Agp Texture Acceleration said not avialible and it had the button that disables and enables it white so I couldn't use it and I have an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz Processor.
