tombcatz Posted June 19, 2005 Share Posted June 19, 2005 hello,i have a strange problem my system specs are: AMD Athlon 3000+ 64Bit Asus K8V SE Deluxe Kingston 512MB DDR RAM Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM Geforce 6800 128MB 256Bit anyway,about a week ago i bought GTA:SA i played on these settings: 1024X768 X32bit AAX2 all settings set on very high and maxed draw distance the game ran completely smooth...[over 70FPS at most parts] suddenly,today somthing happend i`m still playing on the same settings,but the FPS got f*cked whenever i`m in any of the cities,the FPS drops quite badly,but the worst part is the airplanes-whenever i fly above a city,the low FPS drives me nuts!!! untill yesterday everything was OK,the FPS was high and the game ran smooth i tried restarting the computer i tried closing many system proccesses i defragged my hard disk drive i did a disk cleanup i checked for any adware,spyware,viruses etc.-my comp. is clean and the game still runs like crap what the heck did happen?any ideas? Other than that, sorry... no ideas here. the filters in the control center are set on "application controled" this is really strange...the game suffers from slowdowns not only i the gameplay itself even the map[when you move your look in the map],the main menu and the opening movie are much slower what`s wrong with this game?
