Why the **** do they always try to ram the link between the trailer and cab? Then I have to get out, kill all cops in sight, and try to re-attach trailer if I'm lucky (which I'm not most of the time). restart, LATHER, RINSE, REPEAT. AAAAAAAARRRGGHH Pls someone help, tips? I got 100% in VC twice with cheats. I suppose you could get 100% in SA as well with cheats. People just blame cheats because they don't have a scapegoat. a_non_moose Posted June 30, 2005 Share Posted June 30, 2005 Oh, yeah, I agree those missions are a PITA. But, remember all you have to do is hit that hook just right either dead center or less than 90deg from left or right. First time with 4*'s, I got stuck under the underpass in LS beach area. Truck was wedged and on fire, and it was wierd because I've gone there before and seen sparks, but never wedged on a 3*. That sucked..think it is a glitch. If you've done the bloodring, the 4* truck missions are "easier". (I hit my table so hard I reset my computer...ah, well I got wasted anyway...grrrr) Now here is the thing...for the 4* missions your truck is slow, but damn sturdy, so use it and anyone coming head on try to "clip" the front end to avoid full damage, and spin them around. Drive down the center, and if a car/suv tries to come along side you, just inch closer to a solid object so the cops run into it (did that too many times to count). Practice hooking the trailer. Heck from LS to LV I had my trailer unhooked 5 times. Push the trailer for easier hooking, if needed. and you can drag that thing a long way if it gets caught on the center divider like mine did, hooked and dragged a block sparking all the way. Oh, and don't forget, the cops are going for the trailer, not you. Unless you bail. I'm not entirely sure, but if you hit them first you have less chance of getting unhooked, if they hit you, or go under, that will slow you down and other vehicles will get you that way. Don't concern yourself with traffic too much, just run over bikes and clip cars/vans, or PITT them or avoid them. I can't tell you how many times I've pushed traffic out of the way and made the cops crash into stuff. You may be slow but you can push stuff quite well. When they come for you, blast them with Homing rockets or Deagle if they confront you one-on-one. Same with the choppers. It's time consuming, but works like a charm. I rode the train tracks the entire route--they stop virtually right next to the delivery place. I didn't lose the trailer once, the only trouble you have is if a train rams you from behind....but in most of the areas there's no police on the tracks so you have an easy time reattaching it. As for the helicopter, if you keep turning left and right it won't fire on you. i.e, keep moving from side to side even when the train track is thin. I was trying to get onto the train tracks but I only tried it once and I got rolled over all about I'm gonna try it again, seems like the best way. Any more tips?
