Hunter¥
I cannot open the My Documents folder without getting the BSOD. This just happened to. No idea why this is. Also the same thing happens with Fire Fox but it's been like that since I reinstalled windows (98). Anyone have anyidea what is going on? Edit: Did I serioiusly just put that in Gaming Chat.. Wolf68k
You need to run Ad-Aware and Spybot followed by an anti-virus and then HijackThis to which you would save it's log and copy&paste it here for review. Doing all of this (expect for posting the log) while in Safe Mode.
fido2
Sometimes when windows creates thumbnails for corrupt files it crashes, try change the view of another folder to "tiles" or "icons" and go Tools > Folder Options > View tab > Apply to all folders. System_Shutdown
I would suggest using a different file explorer or even shell. That might help. Although I can't find any for Windows 98...-I have spoken.
riccbhard
From what i've heard it's easy to change the shell in 98; you just have to find one first.
