5p4r74n
Sorry I tried using the search feature and it didn't work So my question is how does one go about extracting the Sound Files from San Andreas not the music files but FX files such as police radio chatter, pedestrian chatter etc thanks for any help. My second question is how do you extract movie files from San Andreas and save them into a viewable format such as .mov or .wmv?
Alucasan
To extract a movie i suggest for you to get Fraps, with it you can.. see fps, take a screenshot, record a movie (gets huge tho). I have recorded a lot of movies, never making any fun with 'em tho.

TheGuy20
I've been looking for the same thing but haven't been able to find it. I'd like to listen to all of the ped chatter to see if there's any dialogs I missed.

Donald Rack
Does anyone even know what file extension the audio files are? Yeah, they don't really have one, just "file."
DeeZire
Pretty sure they are PAK files but without the file extension. Not sure if they are the same type of PAK files that the Quake engine uses, but look similar. Theres a utility that lets you rip the PS2 sountracks and build MP3 radio station like Vice City had, Ive used that for now but it wont let you open the other audio files.
