cice Posted June 18, 2005 Share Posted June 18, 2005 I don't think we(aussies) underestimated them. We were just plain flat, and didn't really have any intensity, and they played quite well. I'm not too concerned about Australia's performance so far, but my feelings could change depending on the result of tomorrows ODI between Australia and England. This is great for the game, as i been sick of watchin Aussies win all the time. But now the will get better as it will become more of a close game, like football, rugby (aka soccer), as gap between nations reduce. Which will increase the popularity of the game. And all Aussies should stop winging and realise the fact that AUS have lost a game and Bangladesh has won a game. And no excuse can fix that. So congrats to Bangladesh and better luck next time Aus. And you poms just be yourself, whine about the weather, because you are still going to loose to the Ashes : . Although you have a better chance now then before, you will still blow it. It is good for the game - the worlds best being beaten by lowly Bangladesh, and it also improves Englands position. 2 birds, 1 stone methinks. Hogg bowled terribly, think it was 52 runs from 9 overs or something along those lines... jeez, crap economy.
