But real woman prefer medium size, perfect shaped, like Vice City was. San Andreas just is TOO big, too many graphical glitches, too many Crashes, too many Hangs, too many Speech dissapearing, too many clumsy controls, too many switching to map, too many............... ehm...... penis ! SINCE I DELETED MY SAVE GAME ) in the second city and until now there were no sound problems at all! My sound card is SoundStorm (onboard) that comes with the Asus Nforce2 deluxe. Anyway, my SA run like a dream... no problems at all... If the game is soo bad... why do you want to downlaod it again anyway... if your not going to play it... if you have so much agenst it... sell your game... then piss off from the forums so everyone else does not have to wast their time reading your bullsh*t... Through 25 hours of gameplay so far it hasn't crashed ONCE (can't think of any other game like that - including VC and GTAIII), nor has it exhibited any signs of problems, glitches, bugs whatever (I'm sure they might be a few here and there, but I haven't noticed them, and so it isn't a "POS" ) I don't normally like saying this to people, but it more than likely is your computer So stop moaning, try and fix it. At the beginning I thought this to I was like wtf? I'm a black man with black homie's and the only thing that was white in Los Santos was the cop and some peds but the most were black. But after playing it some more I discovered not anyone is black and the game freakin' pwns. About the bugs: I <3 finding bugs and glitches and all kinda stuff like that so I don't mind that. But then again, my computer is perfectly fine. They have actually laid it out in a genius way in that manner... When you follow the map and the road, the game itself kinda trains you on a path that expands slowly but taking many new paths as things increase, like a left where you once took a right, but hopping on a street that goes over your previous path and lands you near the old place, and you're still able to get to the old place without backtracking, and able to get to the new destination once you see the cut through from the newly learned angle... What would be so different with a pirated copy? Like Freak said, it would just add more problems. Not only will it keep crashing, but it will also have the possibility of keyloggers (steals your usernames and passwords as well as credit card info), spyware, viruses, backdoors, and who knows what else. Well, if you download a 2mb .exe file with any sh*tty p2p-program and expect that this is your game, there will be malware. If you know where to get those things, there won´t. FFS, a warez release is a clone/rip with a crack and the crack is just a patched exe (removed/edited check code); so if you get a fake version/custom version means you suck at the net (or does it?). I have to admit I've got the warez release, with good reasons: My DVD-drive was to come 2 weeks later after the release and my brother bought the game for us on the release date. How am I supposedly am capable of running the disk on a CD-RW? My bro could've lent me the DVD-drive but how could've he play it? You are whining about GTA san Andreas here, so somebody gives a reply and you start to bitch at him too. In my (non-humble) opinion it is not an illogical suggestion that it is simply your computer that´s not up to the game when you´re experiencing glithces etc. Yes, GTA:SA has "crashed" a total of three times, it closed down and threw me out, whatever. I have never ever had problems with my sound, the size of the game or anything else. I do not have a special computer at all: in fact, I´m using my fathers computer to play on it which is intended for text processing etc. It has no special 3d card or graphics card in it. If you feel the game could be glitchless, just adjust some of your settings, like a lower draw distance or something. If you think the game is too big, for what reason I do not know, use the highways, airplanes etc. "Don't go saying the lame 'Hey guy, it's your 'puter' crycry" struck me as exceptionally moronic. if you don´t want certain replies you are bound to get, don´t post this thread. Count yourself lucky than M8.... Go look on the 99+ posts since June 8th in the "PC Crashes when entering" thread HERE . Thats a lot of people with systems that are CTD/Locking. I for one can play for 2 or 3 hours sometimes...and other times 2 min with my PC locking up. GTA SA is one BUGGY piece of work. I have built at LEAST 12 PCs in my time.... so its not like Im a novice. I can run Doom3, HL2, Silent Hunter III, Brother in Arms, and many more newer titles....all with NO PROBLEMS. This game is the ONLY game I have that HARD LOCKS my PC on a consistant basis. Again consider yourself lucky! I do hope R* patches this thing to work.....
