I dont know is this has already been posted but if you go inside the house and kill the owners (aka people sleeping) the cop timer will come on. Run outside before the counter hits zero then go back in. You wont have a noise meter and you can make as much movement/noise as you want. biggrin.gif

There is another way of doing the burlary missions, without having to sneak. Near the market street station, there is a building, that you can get to the roof of. Just before you hop onto the roof, there is a sniper rifle. When you do the burlary mission, if you have the sniper rifle selected as your weapon of choice, you will be able to walk around as normal, and not make any noise, even when holding the item you are stealing. In the time alotment for robbing houses, i snitched 29 items in one go, from 2 adjacent houses, for a total of $17k. I was more than impressed, and i will use this technique in the future, to rob more places. Hope this helps others as well, because i was getting tired of having to do the mission in 2 parts. rahkstar2.gif

The best spot is the blue condos across from the drop off in LS. You can grab stuff from 2 condos until theres 30 secs left and still make it on time. Park closest to 1 condo door and clean it out then switch to the other close condo door but only take 1 item from that farther one, this respawns stuff in the 1st condo. You get the most items this way.

Also, dont bother to sneak. Just run up and grab it and run out.

Also, dont take things from the back room, it wastes time. Take only the TV and DVD player in the main room of each house.

In the photo im at the drop off point and facing the condo I steal from.

edit: Just to add that sometimes the condo homes arent available. From my pic go to CJs left and theres a dead end street. The 2 homes on the end are a good alternative. One of the ladies is up all night there but she usually just raises her hands or ducks down so you can still run in and out with no problem.

Good tutorial but a few more things;

Go in and find the owner, shoot them and run out. Then go back in and burgle to your hearts content.

For timing issues, target the lockup on the map and work your way towards it so you are always going to it whilst making money.

And contrary to the other guide, whilst the op is a very well respected senior member and I value his opinions the small houses let you do a lot more houses and have smaller layouts so goods are quicker and easier to locate.

Hope this helps some 'n00bs' and peace out;)

The "Don’t worry about noise" and "No rush back" sections in my Tips explain those two points. No need to work back or anythign as you get plenty of time to get back to the garage.

I have one question. I just finished the mission robbing uncle sam and i cant find a ski mask or a balaclava anywhere. Do i have to do more missions to unlock them, or are they at any special clothing store. I have unlocked Bincos, Pro laps, and Suburban, but i cant find out where to find a ski mask. thnx.

the best houses arent in vine wood.. since all itemes are worth the same yhou should simply pick thwo houses on grove street and move back and fourth stealing the tv and vcr.. in vinewood it is very difficult to find two houses next to eachother that you can rob... you could usually if u move fast get 30 items= 18000..idk if u said this or not but there are no rewards or bonuses for completely cleaning out a house

Just completed the burglary mission again. Got 49 items, worth $48020. Best part is, this mission can be done, even before you have started the actual first mission of getting back to your own house for the first time. So doing this, gives you the opportunity of making money, and buying the houses in Los Santos, before its even normally possible.

Have fun peoples, colgate.gif

P.S. I am not sure at what amount of money for the burglary that it is attained, but I know for a fact, that the amount listed above, gives you infinite sprint. I was able to sprint around the entire first section (before badlands area - before Los Venturas area), without running out of breathe.

I have read two references to a glitch, or a specific house, which continually respawned the same item without the need to enter a difference house to reset it, but this rumor has largely gone ignored, and was never confirmed or denied. I would like to learn more about this very old glitch. Does anyone have more information on this subject?

If v want to be quick we can also first go to the destination and wait there until the time of burglary is accessed.stay near the house and after the time toggle the burglary mission and get out of the van and in the house. This way v hav a lot of time.y to search the houses? muppetmaster_karma.gif

I think is one os those:

Thanks, but it looks like all of those houses will be too large to get in and out of quickly. Also the doors seem to have a nasty habit of turning on and off, so it's difficult to keep re-entering the same house. Anyway, I didn't check them for repeating items since it doesn't look like they will be appropriate for a speed run - too far to the items.

BTW, on which version did you notice a continually respawning item?
