Burglary Mission Tutorial

Recommended Posts

Ok i took a look at the maps to see where the vans are located, but I don't seem to find anything on those maps... what am I supposed to look for? A symbol? An arrow showing the place?

I looked at them and don't find the van location / garage to leave the loot afterwards sad.gif

one tip i didnt see him mention in there when you start you might want to start as soon as it gets to be dusk, because thats when you can start to rob homes, then you will have about 10 minutes to rob houses.

when i did this in Los Santos i drove back to the lockup and made 2,000

bassicly all ya have to do in burglar missions is find a house to rob steal items keep the noise meter low other whise you will wake up the house owners then you'll have only 10 seconds to get out of the house before the cops arrive if they arrive you grt a wanted level of 2. rampage_ani.gif

I ignore the noise meter; just run in, grab the TV, and run out.

Yeah the noise meter doesn't matter as long as you don't let it count down to 0. Like Mxyzpltk said, run in the house grab something and run out before the timer reaches 0. Once you are outside, you can store the TV and repeat this all over. In this way, you are able to steal more items.

for larger houses you cannot get in and out when ignoring the noise meter. The tips io have written are to help you optimize your robbery, but everyone has there own ways of doing things.

Silenced Pistol and Night Vision Googles is essential for the burgular missions.

They might be night to have, but hardly essential... you can complete the mission with $10,000 stolen goods in two game days without cheats, and by igoring the noise meter/home owners.

How much do you all make on a single trip? I have only made a maximum of about 1500, which helped a lot in early game, but I have a feeling I could make more.

I only do it at the very start of the game and am too lazy to go anywhere but Grove Street, and I normally get $8-12k in a run depending on my luck; so I'm done in no more than 2 tries. If you read through the first post and seek out the good neighborhoods you can get a good deal more. I think Ozzy said that following his methods should get you around $19k per night.

when i click on the map it only comes up at about 150*150 pixels, so i cant see any detail on it, i would be infintely greatfull if you reuploaded the map.

The links are meant to be thumbnails to larger images but the forum has disabled them for a bit. Just delete the ".th" from the URL and it will show the large image.
