JesusJones Posted June 17, 2005 Share Posted June 17, 2005 I had a similar problem where the intro crashed-out before the game could even begin. With a little digging behind the 'Windows has encountered a problem' message I found the file libmplayer.dll mentioned. After a search I found this was also in the ffdshow codec collection I had installed, so I removed that and all now works great! I hope this helps. So its not nessasarily that. Like the guy above mentioned a codec pack problem. Codec packs are notorious for causing issues. Nemo codec page, ace mega codec pack, k-lite codec pack. They all are known to cause problems with GTA SA and also many other games.
