In my opinion all we need is for someone from Rockstar or Take 2 to issue a statement saying we recognise there are some issues and we are currently working on a patch. I'm sure a lot of us would stop griping then. You have to take your hats off to Valve for their response to the bugs that were released with Half Life 2 at least people knew they were doing something about it and have stayed very much in the spotlight when it comes to updates. When I spend $100 (nz dollars) on a game I expect the same from Rockstar. Have any Rockstar employees been known to frequent these forums? What I have done with GTA 3 and VC is wait until the game drops in price like to 20 30 Bucks then buy it cause that one will work. this is the last time I am buying a game at full retail price when it comes out. I knew from tha beggining that SanAn wuz gonna have alot of bugz and problems. So i am doing what every person with a brain does , im waiting untill the PRICE DROPS on the game and they come out with VERSION 1.1 or something. And ill probaly pay only 30$ for a 1.1 VERSION GAME that has been fixed of obvious bugz and probs , instead of buying a 50$ GAME the first day with TONS OF BUGZ AND PROBS. im not tryin to get at anyone but you would have enjoyed the game more if u would have waited a lil bit longer and save a couple of bucks for a bug-less game. And the big law is: "The fault is always of the client". Some companies store the unsolved bugs/problems, others not. But dont doubt guys, Rockstar already know all the bugs, and most provably they experienced it before of us, fixing or not is up to then,my 2 cents i would bet on some patch that fixes one or other bug, but bugs related to performance and stuff i doubt they will be fixed, they will stay just like the GTA3 stayed. Your logic is flawed coz if EVERYBODY waited till the game dropped in price before buying it and so there would already be a patch for it then... there wouldn't be a patch because no one bought it. If EVERYBODY took you advice GTA:SA sales on PC = 0. They wouldn't make a patch because no-one bought the game so no one would need a patch. And besides over here in the UK games don't drop in price. They are released at £29.99 and thats where they stay until they get released on budget labels a year or two later, or in the case of big games 5 years.
