akochan Posted June 12, 2005 Share Posted June 12, 2005 Ok... I wasn't trying to sound skeptical or anything... just that if you run SB's autoupdater there is an EAX 4 update for the cards.... That and the number of people crashing with even their sound outright disabled or accel scaled all the way to none (running the sound in pure software mode) still points in 99.9% of the cases to be video card crashes both for GTA:SA + BF2, especially on ATIs. Remember that no matter WHY one crashes you're going to get audio loops, stutters, or glitch sounds, even when the crash is completely independent of a sound issue.
