akochan
Provided your comp's BIOS and Windows sound card drivers are set up properly it won't help.... because presumably you've got your onboard sound disabled in your BIOS and the most recent drivers + EAX update for your soundblaster. However.... there is an infinite number of Radeon users here (including myself) who are getting VPU crashes, hard locks, etc... even when using every possible CATALYST driver combo and settings... You can try to tinker... who knows what may occur. But best bet is just to wait and cry and hope for a patch like the rest of us ATI users who haven't been able to play all week.
