thornman Posted June 12, 2005 Share Posted June 12, 2005 Ok, for years (since 2001) i have wondered what it's like on the mysterious lighthouse island. Finally when I got to shorside vale, I cooked up a plan to fly the Dodo to Salvatore's mansion and fly off the cliff, onto the island. Sadly everytime I attempt it I get blasted away by the damnded mafia. One time I as far as the road in front of his driveway, but nothing more. And so I am asking anyone with the game on PC, or who has actually managed to get on the island with PS2 version, is it anything special? Any insides like the Vice City light house? Craig Kostelecky Posted June 12, 2005 Share Posted June 12, 2005 It's nothing special. And the collision data in the game isn't very detailed (so you can't walk on it at all). No interiors, and it's so steep that you'll fall right into the water if you get there on foot. It's nice to look at but don't waste your time trying to find anything in there. snaporaz Posted July 5, 2005 Share Posted July 5, 2005 i tried it on ps2 by using the dodo cheat and a banshee and driving off the cliff and "gliding" onto the island, but it would never let me land on it. like an invisible barrier surrounded it; the banshee would just crash into this mid-air barrier and fall into the ocean.
