Unlike GTA 3/ VC, in SA you can't even configure the number of speakers. But the most important thing, I can't find where to turn on Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound? Does anyone know? darkfiber Posted June 12, 2005 Share Posted June 12, 2005 I have a Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS and Logitech Z-5500 Digital 5.1 surround speakers and I get surround sound just fine. Although my speakers are not connected to my soundcard digitally, they are connected using the 3 analog (front, read, center/sub) analog connectors. But it is surround. sovietdoc Posted June 12, 2005 Author Share Posted June 12, 2005 Yeah, I have Audigy 2 eX modded to 4 Pro with Z-5500's and I use both Optical connection via S/PDIF and regular 6 channel direct. I get surround sound using analog connections but rockstar website claim that GTA SA supports Digital sound stream. Digital sound is MUCH better quality and speaker redirection.
