Lambda.core
I bought GTA:SA with high hopes of running it on my mid level rig, when I tried to run it, BAM! "gta_sa.exe has caused an error and needs to close". I hadnt even begun to load the game yet, just clicked the icon and the error popped up. My Specs are: P4 2.8ghz 512MB Ram Radeon 9550 256MB 120GB Hard Drive. (post if i need to say more specs)
shaggy_the1
Sounds like one of those problems cause by a particular system. Nothing I can think of helps. Unless you will be able to find out what exactly is the cause of error and then try remove it. It will most likely be a piece of hardware, some people have pointer to radeon being the reason. I use Radeon myself though, so not sure.

typoEDR
I know with the latest drivers, GTA:SA won't start. When I roll back to the older ones (which I should do, good ol' Omega), the game works fine... well... fine enough.
