Adding Car Spawn Locations

Sorry for the double post guys.

 

By moded do you mean thats its been modded at Transfender etc or that its has been changed with a downloaded car.

 

I dont know of any way to spawn a car that has been modded at Transfender,LocoLowCo, or Wheel ArchAngels.

 

If you mean just a car that has been put in game from a sownload then it should be the same as the car you replaced-something like "sandking" if you replaced the Sandking

Its at gtagaming.com and just look for 1969 Dodge Charger then istall it it replaces the Sandking then try to enter it and you'll see what im talking about. Unless it works for you.

I'm curious, has anyone had trouble with crashing early in the game (when the other islands are still closed off) by spawning a boat/plane in and around Los Santos? I spawned my lovely Rough Rider 46 Cigarette boat (Squalo) outside the Santa Maria beach house (in the water, obviously), and the game crashes if I get close enough for the boat to be within draw distance. If I go to the location before the very first mission, when the normal "rules" of the code don't apply yet (no cost to respray at pay n' spray, etc.), I have no problem. However, if I go after the game has officially started, it crashes anywhere within draw distance (which I didn't discover until after the 1st OG Loc mission when I went to purchase the Santa Maria house, because I'd checked all my spawnpoints before starting the Big Smoke mission... I was just overjoyed to have to restart that far in). The game kept crashing when I came at the beach house from off the freeway, turning after the overpass... but when I came at the beach house from the little access road that runs along the beach front, I managed to purchase the house and save inside without looking in the direction of the boat. I finally realized what was happening when the game kept crashing as I left the beach house, since there is no way to exit the house without seeing the boat in the water directly in front of me. I'm going to try spawning a helicopter and see if it's just boats. My theory is the game crashes if anything spawns on/around LS that allows you to leave the island before the roadblocks are removed... does this apply only to boats or do planes do the dirty deed as well? I haven't spawned any planes in LS, only in the desert airfield.

Mi mission builder, when i try to open the mais.scm file it says somthin like opcode out of range or something...

 

Can you help me cuz this problem is so bad, i have lots of thing to do in that file and i cant...

 

I thought it was a problem in the file, but it wasn't.... pliz, help me!

ok, i have a question

 

i have addes some spawn loactations, and start a new game.

But how can i turn the started new game too 100%? because tu start over with all the missions am I to lazy for...

so how to?

i tried a trainer from pizzadox, makes it 100% but not the missions devil.gif

Have you read This Thread about SA IPL definitions? That is likely where it is going to be disscussed. If not just search the forums it's bound to be documented somewhere.

Well, what if i just want to change the cars that already spawn in a place. That is change what vehicles spawn in the "Wang Autos" building in SF, i have some cars modded, and i want those there instead of the standard ones. moto_whistle.gif

Every car has its own ID, eg. the Greenwood has the ID 492. Now you have to find the code, that makes the car spawn at Wang Autos. On the first page of this thread you'll find all the IDs. Take the ID of the car you wanna change and search for it in the main.scm. You'll find somethin like this:

 

014B: init_parked_car_generator #XXX

 

The Xs is the ID. Now change the ID to the one you want. Compile and test.

 

 

Edit: But I still don't know how to spawn cars with tuning parts. I just want to place the savanna in front of CJ's house, but with lowrider wheels. Isn't there anybody, who can help me?

I don't think it can be done with your standard parked car generators, but it looks like it can be done with the more explicit spawns you see on missions. For example, in the "Life's a Beach Mission" the off-road wheels are added like this:

 

:MUSIC1_9300506: vehicle_model #PONY set_next_variation  0  000A5: @47 = create_car #PONY at @48 @49 @5006E7: @276 = add_car_component #WHEEL_OR1 to_car @47 

 

Although there's some wait loops much earlier in the mission thread to make sure the models are available and such...

Does anyone have the vehicle ID code for jetpack? Its not in the vehicle.ide file. How about the Hydra?

The Jetpack is not in vehicles.ide because it is not truly a vehicle as far as the game is concerned; it is instead a weapon pickup.

 

The Hydra is in vehicles.ide and its ID number (520) is also listed under "Aircraft" in the ID number tables provided by TheHeggy in the second post of this topic.

Well, I played around a little bit and managed to find out the color code for the parked car.

 

So, if you want your car to be a certain color, find the number of the color in Carcols.dat.

 

Then change the -1 -1 part... The first -1 is car color 1, the second -1 is car color 2. Change the -1's to whatever the number of the color you want is, and voila, its done.

 

For example:

 

Taxi cab yellow is color #6. So to have a yellow Euros, your code should look like this:

 

014B: $cjhouse_euros = init_parked_car_generator 587 6 6 1 alarm 0 door_lock 0 0 10000 at 2487.52 -1682.81 13.17866 angle 90.0014C: set_parked_car_generator $cjhouse_euros cars_to_generate_to 101

I ran into the same "define memory" error.....if you add more than a couple locations you will get this error message......to correct the problem you just scroll to the top of the same page you just added your lines to...there you will see where the define memory is set.....just change to the number that the error message gives you....and yipee....it works.....if you can add this to the tutorial....it might save some peeps the mystery.....thnx.....and 3 thumbs up on the tutorial...easy and works great....have a few cars not showing up though...does anyone know if this is a 100 percent spawn or just some or most of the time?

my place manager seems to be detecting my game, but everytime i go to "click here to insert your current ingame coordinates" it gives me the coordinates x:0 y:0 z:0

 

it says 'found' when gta is running and 'not found' when its closed, but it doesnt seem to be finding my coordinates.

Ok. I opened GTA:SA and IT CHRASES WHATEVER I DO(START NEW GAME OR LOAD GAME). EVERYTIME WHEN THE LOADSCREEN DISSAPEARS, GAME CHRASHES! WHATA IS THAT? WHY IT CHRASES? I FOLLOWED ALL YOUR CONDITIONS BUT I CHRASES. I AM REALLY ANGRY ABOUT IT that_guy2057_evilgrin.gif CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT DISASTER?

I don't know whether it is solved but i'd like to help other people too....

As far as i know there is a file called "veh_mods" in the GTASA/data/maps/veh_mods folder which has all the codes for the tuned parts with car names too... Open it with Notepad. Find what you need and put the number to the place of the "xxx"
