satasha
THe search function is not working well (and searching for "driving school" would probably come up with a million hits). Anyway my question: can I skip driving school?
Zach
It all depends on your personal objectives. As for as completing missions and unlocking cities and such, I think I read in the Brady guide (while skimming through it) that only the Pilot school is required to advance. Chunky Lee Chong
Skipping driving school will not allow you to access a certain chain of missions. I also believe, but am not certain, that it will prevent you from gaining access to Las Venturas.

To acess Las Venturas, all you have to do is complete some missons in the desert

srg
Also, you won't be able to access the hidden street races including the airport race where you can get a Hunter and Hydra, which can play an important part in some missions.
Zendex25
You only need to complete Learn To Fly to gain access to Las Venturas. If you skip Driving School, you will not unlock: - 100% completion rewards - Wang Cars property - Wang Cars missions - Street Races
