doogle Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 I had the same error, the game is playing fine apart from when going into menus then back to the game I get loud engine noise until I enter or exit a vehicle, other than that it's working fine for me so far. William20 Posted June 12, 2005 Share Posted June 12, 2005 A CRC error occours when your computer cannot verify that a file has been copied properly. As the previous users stated, it could be the DVD-ROM being defective, or your DVD drive is malifunctioning. There are special cds you can buy that you use to clean the lens of your drive. Or it could be that your piticular dvd drive cannot read the disc for some strange reason (it took me a reinstall of windows twice to get my damn video card working) so try cleaning the drive.
