GTASyndrome
Greetings everyone. I'm having trouble with the camera control in the PC version of San Andreas. As you know, in this latest installment of GTA, the camera turns independently from the character. I control the character movement with the keys, while I can look in any direction regardless of where the character is pointing. The problem is when in a car/plane/vehicle. I find it very difficult to control car steering. I have gotten used to the Vice City style of play, where the camera "stays" with the car, i.e. the camera is always looking at the car's rear. The same was for the main character. The camera was always looking where Tommy Vercetti was looking, in the style of third person shooters. Here, in San Andreas, I have to control steering, while at the same time manually turn the camera to see where the hell I'm going. This is very uncomfortable, not to mention that I always crash into things at high speed. I hope I explained the problem well enough. So my question is: is there any way, like a command or tweak or hidden option, to make the camera "snap" to the main character like in Vice City, i.e. make the camera automatically look in whichever direction the character is looking? Thanks in advance. (Enabling mouse controlled steering doesn't do the job)
Chunky Lee Chong
If I were you I'd just get used to moving the camera yourself, or you could just use the bumper cam.
