cormack
I dont know if this belongs in this forum or troubleshooting. But is there any way to remove the "wavy heat effect" from the game? it's really noticable in los venturas, and damn annoying
clarkflavour
Whut? I think it's nice!
Zach
I'm with cormack on this one. It boggles my mind that R* thought that looked good and didn't detract negatively to the game. Conjecture: I didn't play the PS2 version long enough to see this effect in-game, but I guess it must have looked good on the PS2, hence why they kept it in for the PC (since their goal was not to change anything). Maybe they make it a configurable option via a patch. Does anyone know a valid R* e-mail to send suggestions to?
mikeswi
I wouldn't mind it so much if it didn't bog down my PC when it gets really hazy. Nice for realism but it shouldn't affect the game like that.
loseruser
Better leave this up to the modding community. It's probably just a few files to edit and you're done.
TiaoMacaleh
I first thought there was something WAY wrong with my pc hehehe...
Jackie Flannery
In my opinion, it wouldn't be the first time a good game has been negatively affected by some vidual effect - shellshock 67 i think it was called. There should be some switch so you can turn it off.
*MURDOC*
Shellshock just sucked in general.
Razor Sharp
I like that effect okay, it might be a bit over the top (then again I never went to L.A ) but it looks pretty realistic for me. As long as it doesn´t give me slowdowns I´m fine with it
