Asiakas Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 Hello, i managed to get this game working without no probs, but when i actually went to game, all the people in the streets are kinda invisible, they do flash a bit but mostly invisible! CJ in the otherhand i'm able to see him just fine. It's weird 'cause the game works great with Antialiasing turned to 2 and hitext-med 1024x768:32 And i have tried to set the settings as low as possible but i does'nt matter, they still flashes.I also updated to catalyst 5.6 but didn't make a difference. timme_vub Posted June 11, 2005 Share Posted June 11, 2005 I have exactly the same problem as you have, whole people or parts of them get invisible/flashing. As I get closer to them or change the cam, I might sometimes see them perfectly, which means the textures are there, and my pc is able to display them... hope this gets fixed soon. mystra007 Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 It didn't work for me either. Had disappearing pedestrians and flickering textures (especially on far away cars and directions signs). Installed catalyst 4.9 but my video card never initialized after installing them. So the display was very slow in windows and no directX games would even start (and yes I waited... for 30 minutes). And those drivers are supposed to be for radeon 9500+ (that's what it says when you install them). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
thomasmore Posted June 13, 2005 Share Posted June 13, 2005 Ok, I fixed my graphics problem! Radeon 9200 129MB directx 0.0c Used the 4.9 drivers advertised by babyboy and now it works! 6000rpm Posted June 15, 2005 Share Posted June 15, 2005 i have to say that those catalyst 4.9s don't work in my system (radeon 9250) properly, propably beacuse they're for 9500+. for example the screen saver don't act like it should, and yesterday i had an error that turned the screen into total mess, sort of like a tv with no signal or something. but anyway, as long as the game works fine, i won't complain!
