EricT
At overall my SanAndreas runs just fine. I'm already at SanFiero and this on;y bug or glitch since now. My roads, highways and some other roads (not all of them) look normal when I'm close to them but in distance they are just black. Tried changing every thing in display options to min and max but that wasn't a lot o help. So plizzz help me because in SanFierro it runs all the game cuz all roads are screwy. My specs: P4 2.8 GHz 256 RAM 80 Gb hard drive (20 Gb free) 128 MB Nvidia GeForce FX5200 video card Windows XP DirectX 9.0c
Neu_Lyf
well you could take a look at another topic containing the fix or you could read below this is what you gotta do (cause you got a fx5200 and it fixed things up for many people) 1st downgrade your directx to 9.0b to downgrade your directx of xp sp2 you need these 1. original xp cd without any service packs integrated Or a copy of dirctx 8.1 2.Directx Happy Uninstall version 1.2 (there are reasons pm me if you wanna know ) 3. a backup of directx 9.0b others are selfxplanatory once you install the software. then try the 71.84 version of the drivers (nvidia ofcourse) then reduce your sound's hardware accleration to basic or none (if you have sound problems) and change your monitors refresh rate of your monitor to 75hz\\ thats all !enjoy! Aeutius
Same here. Downgrading directX to v 9b did'nt help Installing new sound card drivers neither. I have Geforce FX 5600.. Problem occurs only in some roads of San Fierro, and small towns close to this city.
